The Summer School will take place at Roskilde University in Denmark. The university was founded in 1972 and is located in the city of Roskilde, Trekroner borough, a 25-minute train ride from Copenhagen.
Roskilde University was the first university in Denmark to open a media and communication department. Since its opening in 1978, the Department of Communication and Arts has made substantial contributions to the development of the field – from audience and reception studies through mediated public debate and cultural studies to organisational and strategic communication.
The ECREA Summer School is hosted by the Doctoral School of Communication and Arts and partnered with the research project Strategizing Communication and Artificial Intelligence (SCAI).
